  • Both appeared before the Sanhedrin;
    • Christ - Luke 22:63-71
    • Paul - Acts 23:1-10
  • Both appeared before the Roman Governor who ruled Palestine at that time;
    • Christ - John 18:28-38 (Pilate)
    • Paul - Acts 25:6-27 (Festus)
  • Both were declared innocent of death by the Governors;
    • Christ - John 18:38
    • Paul - Acts 25:25
  • Both could have been released;
    • Christ - John 19:10-12
